First American edition(unknown priority between this Brown Brothers release and one by Dodd, Mead, and Company in the same year), first English language appearance(?) Binding a bit rubbed particularly along the spine, top edge lightly spotted, contemporary owner's signature to endpaper. Sound binding, internally clean, deckled edges, complete with ads. A nice, Very Good copy.
 
A posthumously published play that was received very well.
