Starting in 1768, Britishman John Long spends nearly twenty years immersed amongst the Mohawk and other Native Tribes while engaged in the fur trade. An important and fascinating piece of early Americana. It shed light on Indian life and the critical fur trade. Think The Revenant only earlier and without a vicious grizzly mauling.
