Paper repair to top margin of table of contents leaf. Internally quite clean and crisp. Overall, a Very Good, sound copy. Rare - four copies found on OCLC and one in sales records.
 
Written by Trotsky a few months after Lenin's death as a biographical sketch and to begin combatting oncoming Stalinism. Stalin's grip on Soviet Russia was tightening and Trotsky was only a few years away from being exiled. (University of Glasgow)
